I’m Hannah, a Board Certified Thyroid Nutrition Coach, and I want you to experience freedom and victory in your health.  I know that it seems hard and confusing, but there is a more simple way.   I help women who have been diagnosed with (or suspect they are showing symptoms of) a thyroid imbalance address the root cause of their illness, so they can reduce or eliminate symptoms and restore vibrant health.

I have also discovered the transformational power of learning how to truly nourish my body from the inside out.  Not only has my life-long eczema cleared up for good, but I wake up each day with an abundance of energy and passion for life.   What used to be filled with anxiety and dread around meal time has been replaced with an incredible joy and gratefulness, as I have learned how to sustainably care for myself.

I received my training from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition where I studied under the world’s leading experts in health and wellness and am Board Certified by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners and have advanced thyroid training from Mastering Thyroid Imbalance of Full Potential Living.  I became well-versed in over 100 dietary theories and research-based strategies. While I gained an extensive knowledge in nutrition, I also learned that health is about way more than just the food we eat.  Good nutrition is a core component of my program, but I am also  intentional about integrating mindset, sleep, relationships, exercise and joy into each session and action plan. I also recognize that each person is different, and my mission is to guide you with a plan designed specifically for YOU.

How long will it take me to balance my thyroid?

Your thyroid did not get out of balance overnight, and it won't be corrected over night, either.  Recovery time varies depending on many things: severity of imbalance, current and previous diet and lifestyle, etc. I wish it were possible for me to give you an exact time frame, but this will always vary from person to person. I CAN guarantee, however, that I will present you with the knowledge and support to continue nourishing your body for whatever time frame it requires.  While getting off medication may take a some time, most women begin having more energy, etc. within a few short weeks of making improvements.

Will I need to stop seeing my medical doctor if I work with you?

I will never require you to stop seeing your doctor or advise you to adjust medication without his/her guidance. Working with me is a partnership that can often compliment the treatment of your doctor.  My hope is that you will be able to share with your doctor positive improvements based on what you implement with me and will be able to work with him/her to reduce dependency on other interventions.

Why do I need a nutrition coach when I can just Google information?

Most of us KNOW what we should be doing, but there is a reason why we don’t put it into action. We are not meant to go after goals in an isolation.  We all need support, encouragement,  and accountability. Since every person is different, it’s not always effective to just follow an eating plan that has worked for someone else.  Getting individual and personal health guidance from someone who knows your back story and specific goals makes all the difference. 

I'm already so busy.  What if I don't have time to add something else to my schedule? 

That’s the beauty of my approach.  As we work together, healthy living is going to become EASIER and less time consuming.  Not only will you learn how to spend less time in the kitchen, but we’ll design ways to simplify other areas of your life so that everything flows in a more peaceful rhythm.  You’ll start sleeping better, relieving stress, and gaining energy and tactics to stay more organized and focused.    Our sessions are scheduled at a time that fits you best.
